Allow me to introduce myself! My name is Grizzly, and I am a male Chesapeake Bay Retriever, aged 2 years, 1 month, 3 weeks.

Looking for a loyal running partner? Grizzly is your boy. A two year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever / Pitbull mix who came into our shelter after he was surrendered when his owner was no longer able to take care of him. A bit about this gorgeous dude and the kind of home he needs: High energy, requiring a very active home. He will very much benefit from fun obedience training to polish up his behaviour skills as well as keep him stimulated. If left alone for long and without enough exercise and activity, Grizzly will become bored and may bark and become destructive. He is house trained. He would benefit from continued canine socialization. Grizzly can be a bit nervous at times and needs someone who can work with him to build his confidence. Grizzly is very playful and LOVES to swim and play with his stuffies. His high excitability coupled with his size could be overwhelming for little kids If Grizzly sounds like your kinda guy, come say hi to him at the Vancouver SPCA.
